Rooted in Myrtle Beach. Printing stories since 1984.
Native Sons began with 18 friends who grew up together along the Grand Strand. They sailed, surfed and called themselves “the Native Sons.” A midsummer party at the old Studebaker’s, complete with Native Sons T-shirts, helped introduce Steve Taylor to the screen-printing business. What began as a summer idea soon grew into a lasting Myrtle Beach company.
From a Manual Press to a Myrtle Beach Institution
Owner Steve Taylor took that early spark and learned the screen-printing business from the ground up. What began in a small warehouse with a manual press grew into a full-service operation serving hometown organizations and national brands alike. Through every stage of that growth, the goal stayed the same: do excellent work, treat people personally and help every customer’s idea look its best.
More Than a T-Shirt Company
Native Sons has always been connected to the life of the beach. Over the years, our work has appeared on shirts for local schools, restaurants, teams, festivals and events across the Grand Strand. We have also helped create community traditions—from Surf & Spike to the Salt Games—and supported events that bring people together throughout Myrtle Beach.
That same local history inspires our vintage collection. Each design revives a place, sign or story that generations of locals and visitors remember. These shirts are more than souvenirs; they are wearable pieces of Myrtle Beach history.
What We Do Today
Today, Native Sons brings artwork and brands to life through screen printing, embroidery, digital printing, signage and wraps, stickers, event merchandise, packaging and fulfillment. Whether we are producing a small local project or a large national run, our team brings decades of craft, modern capabilities and close attention to every detail.

We are proud of how far Native Sons has come, but Myrtle Beach remains at the center of everything we do. We are here to celebrate the people, businesses and stories that give the Grand Strand its character—and to keep creating work that lets others carry a little of that spirit with them.
